Truscott Place
The redevelopment of the Truscott Place in Aspen, Colorado involves the addition of approximately 100 units and remodel of 98 existing units. Two areas used for open space will be used to build the new units while an existing building containing 50 studio units will be restructured to include 90 units of mixed sizes. The architecture for the project is founded in the regional forms and historical nature of the valley region. Simple shed roofs are incorporated for cost effectiveness and elegant massing to create a vibrant and identifiable environment for the local community.
